Scorpio
The Moon is waxing in her first quarter phase in the sign of Scorpio as we enter Lammas.
We can imagine Scorpios tail as the scythe supporting us in the first harvest. Perhaps noticing some tension with the Moon squaring Mercury (as it retrogrades and we revisit certain themes of communication)
Scorpio is a sign that helps us navigate in the darkness of the underworld. It has a quality of being able to pin point the shadows with precision - striking what needs to be addressed
What lies in the darkness is alchemical fodder for the primordial creatures of the dark mother. The first harvest is a potent alchemy of fire (Leo sun season) and water (Scorpio moon)

~ Invitation ~
Take some time to honour the first harvest of the year. Make offerings of gratitude for all that has been revealed and consider what the first take aways are that you will travel into the dark half of the year to gestate with
MOON
In her waxing phase the moon is rising. This is the time for setting intentions and sowing seeds. A time to initiate, to seed what you are calling into being. As the moon waxes, and the heat pervades, the time of the seed is here - the development of the next continuum of life
PRACTICE
Place your hands in a triangle shape pointing downwards with your thumbs meeting beneath your navel and your fore fingers touching to form the downward point of the triangle. Focus your attention here. Breathe in and out for three rounds. Consider the seed sacks of your ovaries (even if this is the energetic counterpart rather than the physical). Acknowledge the stories that have been told to you about your life force, your ability to create. Acknowledge the truth beyond what you have been told. Ask of your energetic womb what she needs for you to know for you to call a deeper sense of self love into your life. Stay open to whatever may come up - it may surprise you
