~ Invitation ~

The invitation in this new moon cycle is to bring to Earth with Love (Taurus) what wants to be seen (reflected in the Leo moon)

Perhaps that is simply a less armoured version of you - showing yourself, coming out of hiding and blooming into the light of day

MOON

In her waxing phase the moon is rising. This is the time for setting intentions and sowing seeds. A time to begin and initiate. A time to dream and set powerful seeds and incantations into being. Coupled with Beltane we have a powerful union that wants to be made manifest. You may have an inkling or a full on vision - either way spend some time ensuring you nurture this new growth

ALTAR

Make an altar dedicated to truth and beauty with fallen blooms - acknowledging the fleeting magic of this season. When you think ahead to the season that sits across from here - the Samhain to Yule threshold - acknowledge the beauty that is always here right now. In 5 months time it won’t even be possible to feel the energy that is present as we will be on the downward seasonal trajectory in the UK - so remember to drink in the elixir of beauty when it is here. Our Earth school is always handing us opportunities to see the beauty in all things

PRACTICE

What are you saying? What spells are you casting? How are you bringing to light what needs to be seen? How does how you are seen, merge with how you want to be seen and who you are? How can you bring more alignment to this? Can you take inventory of your thoughts and notice when all habits creep in. What new Earth do you want to create in yourself? As we birth new ways of being we must begin with the foundations that lie within

JOURNAL

Can I celebrate my solar and lunar? Can I balance my masculine and feminine tendencies? Where do these sit within the spectrum of the all? We know that there are subtle nuances in these energetics that exist within all of us. Can we be present with all of them and dissolve the barriers to allowing them to merge harmoniously?

ASTRO HERBALISM WITH PLANT KIN

Plant spirit support

Take yourself to the Hawthorn blossom and dance in the swirling surrender of her petals as confetti. Allow a levity in your heart to arise and meet yourself there. Allow her heart medicine to be with the tender maiden of you. Notice Elder flower as she makes her full bloom earth side. Contemplate how all the fellow Hawthorns and Elders bloom together - not exactly, at a pace determined by their relationship to the land and the elements, but the blueprint encoded into their kin. The May Queen and the Wise Elder - The end of Spring and the end of Autumn - the delicate dance of blossom and thorn, of bloom and berry

INCANTATION

RITUAL

Be the grounding rod. Literally make sure you are grounding on the earth as much as possible. Place your hands here and feel the support that arises for you. Perhaps you can literally feel the earth teeming with energy. You Earth star chakra resides a few feet beneath you in the earth. Take a moment to connect to it whenever you feel the rising pull is too strong. Your Soul Star chakra point is a few feet above you. Standing with your feet on the floor, eyes closed, feel into both of these energetic points and connect to a sense of existing between these poles. Does one have more energetic charge? What do you notice?

ENERGETIC

If there is one thing for sure - it is that the world keeps on turning. Nature has her own delicate symphony of timing. The growth in this time is exponential and the discomfort you may feel, or perhaps the excitement (or all of it) is part of the expansion. Absolutely everything wants your attention as the newly adorned Mother tries to be everything to everyone. For new expressions to be born, death is necessary. For space to arise to create a clear way for new ways of being to emerge. The more you lean into what is being asked of you - the less resistance you will feel. It can be very hard to surrender into the void of uncertainty - particularly when you are so heavily invested in what you have come here to do. Remember a new earth is birthing and so can you to. The most difficult bit about birthing is surrendering into the dark void of the unknown and being present anyway. As the energy rises make sure you continue to bring anchoring and ground yourself as much as possible. Stay true to your vision without being distracted or avoidant of the task at hand. Contemplate what you are bringing to form in the way you are in action in your creation. Create prayers of new ways of being as you recognise what needs to bloom in you that feels like it is still a new uneasy skin. What begins as a seed of an idea birthed from the ether into the air realms then needs to land in your heart and your womb before growing back up back through you with your actions, courage and voice

There is a bigger plan in the web of life and your only job is to do your best in integrity in your part of it
