Finding Balance

The Moon is waxing in her first quarter phase in the sign of Libra just over half way to becoming full. Libra is the Cardinal Air sign ruled by Venus - shes seeks peace, love and harmony

There is lots of Air to help us to tune in but also be aware of being too critical or being too ‘in your head’.

Libras glyph represents the setting sun - notably it has the = equals sign encased in its meaning. The only sign not represented by human or animal. Like Venus as Morning and Evening star we are always between the tipping points and finding balance. Perfect balance does not and can not exist in life. Without movement, ebb and flow, everything ceases to exist.

Lady Libra with her scales of justice are perfectly poised to support us as the tipping point gradually weighing us towards a slow decline into incubation.

Libra sub consciously supports us to really hold polarities and understand the importance of them for coming to balance. However, the shadow aspect of libra can have us stuck in indecision and in wanting to keep peace, not be decisive with our boundaries.

This will likely play out through this growing moon scape - going this way and that in our lunarspheres - only to have the Capricorn mountain goat give us some direction and earth in the full moon.

So as we are on the rise - as the lunar energies grow again - we have a chance for weighing up those things that we need to see in the darkness. What are the important decisions that need our energy and attention now? How can we prepare to support ourselves through the next part of the cycle? We don’t need all the answers, just to lean in when our psyche (soul) sends us up the messages that we need to consider. Lady justice says don’t hide from what needs to be thought through, what decisions need to be made.

If you tune in you will know what those are for you in this time. They may be relatively consequentially small - but not unimportant. Or they may be huge celestial shifts in the chain breaking evolution of your life.

Plant spirit support

As the Elder flower passes, take note of what is blooming around you now as the symphony changes pitch. Here the mugwort and wormwood are in potent bud. The mullein is towering at 8ft tall. The meadowsweet is tufting. The crescendo has passed and we begin to notice the gratitude and perhaps the yearning for those blooms that have fleetingly bought us so much magic. We notice that to have these plants in bloom at any other time would take great force. We will gradually move to late bloomers and begin to notice the evolution to fruit … here there are even the beginnings of the elderberry

Take the time to note down everything that you have accomplished through your sovereignty, action, will power and love. See how far you have come. By the daily self sustenance you have provided. Honour your own levels of maturation and the bounty that arises from it
