WATER
In the direction of the West we surrender to the elemental power of water in the waning cycle of the moon. After stoking the Fire we surrender to the alchemy that is born by combining these elemental forces. We invite the intention to purify, clear and soften ~ releasing what has been shown to us in the apex of the moon cycle.
Consider how you relate to this element within this season?
The call to return to the guardianship of the waters of this land, the bloodlines of the mother, is strong. Do you feel it? Are you called to be in sacred service to the waters. To call back the tender spirits that preside over these sacred waters. Have you found a local well or spring? Can you clear what is there, make an offering, sing and connect to it? What water do you drink? How can you actively participate in supporting the return to freely available fresh water. Is there simultaneously a calling to the waters within. Or a call to work with the womb waters. The women I work with tend to have a strong call to remember their role as the well maidens, the priestesses of the land and their remembrance of their selkie untameable souls. We all begin life in the water consciousness of our mothers ocean. Within the albumin, the moon woven chrysalis of our amniotic sac. Sit and scribe what water is for you. Where is there resistance and how can you be the smooth river rock shaped by the flow but strong and steady holding terra firma.
What plant medicine is currently drawing you?
Rosemary is still very present for me as I step over the threshold to a whole new home chapter. She has been present for many of the women that I work with bringing a comforting and protective presence. I feel she calls us to centre when the river is fast flowing
I am sharing with you a very personal recording that I did in the white spring many moons ago. I was gifted this selkie song by a fellow priestess with Scottish roots. Do you feel the call to return to the water ways. To clear the path and allow spirit to flow through the land once more?
