WATER
In the direction of the West we surrender to the elemental power of water in the waning cycle of the moon. After stoking the Fire we surrender to the alchemy that is born by combining these elemental forces. We soften to form and bring intention to purify, releasing what has been shown to us in the apex of the moon cycle.
Consider how you relate to this element?
On Sunday we meet the last quarter moon as she moves into the sign of Sagittarius ~ the fiery arrow of the seeker. It may feel somewhat of a welcome release after the waning Gibbous in depth loving Scorpio of the days prior. March brings us into a nascent quality. This is a transitional month, of liminality, karmic closures and the threshold of newness. Somewhere at the old edge we courageously meet fresh perspective and understanding. I have felt very called to introduce you to the Goddess Coventina if you are not already familiar with her. She is a water keeper - think ties to Minerva - water and wisdom. In these lands she is an ancient water priestess and protectress over the sacred waters. She feels perfect to connect to you so that you may seek her counsel in this season. If you choose to convene with her - remember there is no right way - just lead with your heart and lower heart (your energetic womb). This season we are cleansing our soul vessel, cutting back and clearing for new growth
Womb Cycles
How is your internal landscape cycling? Where do you peak and wane within it?
Are you on a:
White moon cycle - bleeding with the new moon and ovulating with the full moon. Women often move to this cycle subconsciously to conceive - the fertile cycle - beginning in the darkness of the fertile soul soil and birthing new worlds in the fullness of the moon
Pink Moon cycle - (transitional in quality) bleeding with the waxing moon and ovulating with the waning moon. With this there is a sense of growth and change, an expansion of expression. Perhaps coming out of a particular phase of life and beginning a new chapter
Red moon cycle - bleeding with the full moon and ovulating with the new moon (Also known as the witches moon cycle). This is considered a very powerful cycle - where your bleed is linked with full subconscious power and insight
Purple moon cycle - (transitional in quality) bleeding with the waining moon and ovulating with the waxing moon - the maga bleed phase calling you inwards for reflection and deep inquiry in the last slither of the moon
The Wise Woman - When you cessate your bleeding you are the mirror of the virgin - a woman fully unto herself - on the other side. You are the one crowned with the wisdom that is retained within the chalice inside
It is not uncommon for women to experience a lot of disruption in their bleeds in the modern world - our wombs meeting so many needs to clear and cleanse physically and energetically. Our wombs can give us a lot of information to work with in order to return to honouring their wisdom
